Sports Gear Swag review for team uniform buyers
If you are reading Sports Gear Swag reviews before a team order, start with the proof, sizing and delivery terms. Sports Gear Swag documents custom apparel ordering and a team-store option. Check the exact product, the written terms and who will check each player’s details.
What this review covers
Secondslide sells team apparel and runs team stores. We checked Sports Gear Swag’s public U.S. order pages and policies on September 30, 2026. We have not ordered its gear, handled its garments or tested its service. This guide does not rate garment quality.
The review helps a coach or club director prepare a purchase. The worksheet below can be used with Sports Gear Swag or another outfitter.
What the ordering process includes
Sports Gear Swag’s ordering guide describes choosing a product, changing the design and adding names, numbers or artwork. A digital proof follows the submitted order. Its See Design Pay Later option lets a buyer review the design before payment and production.
For a team, the useful question is who checks that proof against the final roster. A design preview does not tell you whether every parent selected the right size or whether two players share a number by mistake.
Choose one person to approve the complete order. Give another person the job of checking the roster against that approval copy. If the roster changes, mark the changes in one place and ask for a revised proof.
Terms to confirm before paying
The return policy says custom orders become final when the proof is approved or production or fulfillment starts. Buyers are responsible for errors they approve, including names, numbers, sizes and artwork. Confirmed production defects or manufacturing errors may qualify for a remedy after review; a refund is not automatic. The buyer pays return shipping even when SGS confirms a production error. Report concerns within 10 days of delivery.
Get a written answer about late orders, too. The team-store page’s delivery banner offers a full refund if a late order is no longer needed. The return policy calls website dates estimates and limits late-delivery refund consideration to applicable shipping fees, subject to review. Those statements differ. Ask SGS to confirm the terms for your chosen order before you rely on a delivery date.
Use these questions before approval:
| Point to settle | Question to send |
|---|---|
| Timing | What arrival date applies to this exact product and order? What must I approve, and by when? |
| A mistake after approval | What can be changed before production, and how do I confirm the change was accepted? |
| A production problem | If you confirm an error, which remedy applies? What photos or other evidence do you need, and what return costs must I pay? |
| Fit | Which chart or sample applies to this style? What happens if the size I approve does not fit? |
| Optional protection | What extra coverage does it add, what does it cost, and what is excluded? |
Save the answers with the approved proof. For any supplier, that file is more useful than a screenshot of a general sales banner.
Walk through a sample uniform order
This is a planning example, not an actual customer order. Imagine a club ordering jerseys and shorts for 16 players. The uniforms need individual numbers, a club logo and delivery before the first game.
First, pick the exact jersey and short styles. Use the supplier’s size charts for those products. Our youth jersey measurement guide can help you gather measurements, but it does not replace that product’s chart.
Next, put size, name and number choices in one roster sheet. Check the pieces separately if a player needs different jersey and short sizes. Have families confirm their entries before requesting the final proof.
Review the proof line by line. Check spelling, duplicate numbers, item counts, logo placement and the selected colors. Give the supplier the date you need the uniforms in hand, including any time needed to check and distribute them.
Finally, ask what happens when a seventeenth player joins. Sports Gear Swag has a repeat-order page, but the existence of that option does not settle availability, pricing or arrival time. Get those answers for your selected kit.
A team store is a separate decision
Sports Gear Swag’s store page describes an application and approval process, followed by a store families can order from directly. It says customers receive their orders individually.
The page describes both product markups and a 10% commission, with a $100 payout threshold. Ask how those figures work together before estimating what your program will earn. Ask who approves a payout, what fees are deducted and what happens to a balance below $100.
A store can serve optional fanwear and required player gear differently. For required uniforms, decide how you will know every player has ordered the right pieces. Ask to see the exact reporting available. For optional fanwear, ask how long items remain available and who answers a family’s order question.
Our online team store comparison covers more providers if the store is your main decision.

Hold approval if an unanswered item could change the purchase. A blank field is a question to resolve, not a reason to guess.
