Epic Sports review for team apparel buyers
Epic Sports reviews can help you decide what to check, but your team’s purchase comes down to the exact items and terms. Epic Sports sells sports apparel and equipment through an online catalog. For a team order, confirm the full size run, any decoration work, the arrival plan and the return rules before paying.
What this review is based on
Secondslide sells team apparel and runs team stores. We reviewed Epic Sports’ public U.S. catalog, FAQ and return policy on September 30, 2026. We have not placed a test order or examined its products. This is a review of the documented buying process, with no quality rating or claim about customer service results.
Start with the order you need. A few known replacement items, a full custom kit and an optional fanwear store call for different questions.
Check the whole size run
Check every size your team needs. Build a list with the exact product number, color and quantity for each size. Confirm the list before you approve decoration.
Consider this illustrative example: a coach needs jerseys and shorts for 14 players. Some need youth sizes, others adult sizes, and a few need different sizes in the two pieces. The order is complete only when every player has both items.
If you choose a closeout, decide how you will handle a late player. Epic’s FAQ describes closeouts as discontinued products with limited quantities that are not guaranteed. A discount may be useful for a one-time need, but a matching piece later needs its own plan.
Ask whether an unavailable size will hold the order, ship later or need a substitute. Get approval for any substitute before it is decorated. Keep the product number and approved color with the roster so the next person can find the same item.
Build the date from the whole order
Epic’s FAQ says processing time comes before the chosen shipping time. It also explains that items can arrive in separate shipments. A faster shipping choice does not remove the work needed before a package leaves.
Ask for the date each item can ship, then the expected arrival at your address. If decoration is involved, include art review and production. Confirm whether the full kit can arrive together or will have separate tracking numbers.
For a game-day uniform, tell the supplier when you must receive it. Include time to check counts, spot a wrong size and distribute the kit. Keep that date separate from the day you would like to place the order.
Do not promise parents an arrival based only on a shipping label. Track the full order list. A delivered box can still contain only part of the team’s gear.
Know what changes after decoration
Epic’s FAQ describes quotes for some embroidered logos and asks for product details and artwork. Contact sales for the exact item and design. Get the decoration included in the quote before using a blank shirt’s price in your budget.
Ask what decoration is available, which file is needed and whether you will review a proof. Confirm logo placement, size and colors. If the jersey needs names or numbers, ask for that work explicitly rather than assuming it is included.
Get the price for the finished item, any artwork/setup charge and shipping in one quote. Ask whether the same art can be used for a small reorder. If another decorator will work on the blanks, agree who checks the blank items before that work begins.
Read the return policy before decorating
Epic’s return policy requires authorization before a return. It excludes custom or decorated items, closeouts and other listed categories from ordinary returns. Eligible returns of items that are not defective or wrongly shipped must be made within 30 days of receipt of the order. The policy states a 20-50% restocking fee, with shipping deducted. Ask which percentage applies to your item.
The policy asks buyers to report wrong shipments and clothing defects within five days of receipt. It treats defects separately from ordinary returns. Read the full product and policy conditions before assuming a refund or exchange applies.
Assign someone to check deliveries promptly. Compare the packing slip with the order, count pieces and look at styles, colors and sizes. Keep tags and packaging while you check. Report a problem with the order reference and clear photos.
If the gear will be decorated elsewhere, make that check before passing it to the decorator. Adding the logo first can change the return options.
Team purchase checklist
Use this before approving a catalog order, then again when the boxes arrive.
| Check | Before payment | On arrival |
|---|---|---|
| Product numbers and colors | Match the agreed kit | Compare each item with the order |
| Youth/adult size quantities | Cover every player and each piece | Count by item and size |
| Availability and substitutes | Confirm the full list and allowed changes | Flag any unapproved substitute |
| Decoration | Record approved art, placement and method | Check against the approved copy |
| Processing and delivery | Confirm each item’s date and any split shipments | Match tracking numbers to received boxes |
| Returns and problem reports | Record exclusions, the stated fee and receipt-based windows | Note receipt date; report wrong shipments/clothing defects within five days; retain photos, tags and packaging |
| Reorders | Price a late player and check future availability | Save item and art references |
Choose a receiving owner before the first box ships. Put the order confirmation, roster and policy link in a place that person can find.

Secondslide’s outfitting and team stores sit on a connected platform. Registration, payments and payment plans, scheduling, communications, team chat and a parent mobile app run on it too, so the gear and the rest of the season stay with one partner.
